¶ Summary
Unguided bombs like MK82 is a pretty simple weapon. It doesn’t have any guidance system so the pilot needs to aim it before release. In order to do that, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet has CCIP mode for representing impact point.
Free-fall bombs not so accurate weapon. It is influenced by the wind, so for better result drop it not from high altitude.
Also, is better to use high angles of dive.
¶ Procedures
- Select A/G mode
For safety purpose, you can turn on A/G mode only if your plane airborne
- On HUD you will see the line with a circle on the end of it. You need to place your target into this circle and press Fire Button (For some reason Weapon Release Button works not so good).
- Your target will be hit
